Sammy Salazar has been creating art as far back as he can remember and began screen printing his own designs in 1999. Inspired by photocopied iconography, the designs are raw and direct with heavy contrast. All garments and posters are hand-printed using manual presses and squeegies...As owner and operator at MCL Screenworks in El Cerrito, Ca., Sammy stays busy printing for local bands, businesses and organizations around the San Francisco bay area and beyond.
